Congress rally in Palanpur

Ahmedabad, 1 October 2011

-The rally was organized in Gujarat’s northern most Banaskantha district’s head quarter Palanpur.

Accordingly he along with other Gujarat Congress leaders addressed a rally in Kutch. This rally at Palanpur was the second one in this series.
-Large hoardings of farmers with their hands tied (hathkadi) were erected all over the place. This was in reference to Modi government’s strict actions against farmers involved in power theft.
-Vaghela admitted that Congress might have committed some mistakes due to which people of Banaskantha did not vote for the party despite supporting it.
